Essential oils are the life blood of the plant.

They are what keep the plant alive free from diseases, viruses, bacterias, fungi... and the way the oils work in the plant, God created them to work in our bodies the same way!

Essential Oils are extracted primarily through  steam distillation, but we also use cold pressing, or resin tapping to retrieve certain oils like citrus oils and frankincense!

These therapeutic grade oils can also be used for cooking, personal care and household solutions!

home environment?! Hard to fathom I know... Did you know that the air quality in your home is typically WORSE than the air quality outdoors?

Your home should be your sanctuary from the world! However, you may unknowingly be sharing your home with toxic chemicals like: fragrance/parfum, acrylates, aluminum, mineral oil, formaldehyde, oxybenzone, toluene, parabens, triclosan, talc, sodium laureth/lauryl sulfates, polyethylene glycols, and phthalates, that could be impacting your family’s health in a life degrading way.

"Conventional” household cleaning products and personal care items typically wreak havoc with our bodily systems, and compromise strong immunity and robust health.

Although we won’t go into detail on ingredients, a quick skim of common ingredients and side effects include - endocrine (hormone) disrupting, carcinogenic, neurotoxic, inflammatory, links to DNA damage, increased skin ageing, impacts on reproductive systems and fertility, trigger for allergies, migraines, eczema and asthma, associated with insulin resistance and obesity, links to learning and behavioural disorders, reduced IQ, sleep disturbances….

We don’t necessarily have this luxury in our workplace, in our local park or in any other place or venue that we tend to frequent... but we do when it comes to the four walls of our home!

The choice is ours - do we turn our home environment into a safe and nourishing safe haven, that is supportive of our health, the health of our families, and the health of the environment and planet or not?

The simple fact of the matter is...

Whatever you put onto your skin, or breathe into your lungs, ends up in your body! This can either be a source of nourishment, or a source of toxicity, depending on the choices we make.

It’s important to be aware, that just because something is sold in a shop, doesn’t make it safe!

It’s imperative that we do our own due diligence before we make a purchase.

The ONLY person that is going to take the very best care of you IS YOU!

Just like with our food, don’t buy something until you’ve read the label! Ignore the common “green washing” (i.e. “organic”, “natural”, “contains essential oils”, “botanical”, “gentle”, “hypoallergenic” etc) on the front of the package, and just read the actual ingredients list.

If you’re still unsure about a product, do more research. An app I like is “Think Dirty”, where you can look up common products for a toxicity “rating”.

It was because of this app that I began ditching products I had in my home like all of my household cleaners, laundry detergents, dryer sheets... side note... did you know that the top two most toxic products in the home are dryer sheets and bleach?! Crazy right.. look it up... You will be just as shocked as I was to find how this poisons you and your family... anywho I tossed my perfumes, deodorants, candles... I literally started over one product at a time because once I researched the ingredients, I no longer could in good conscience allow my family to use them! And that is where Young Living Essential Oils really began to shine because as I was ditching products, they had everything I needed to switch to! And ALL of their products are backed by their Seed to Seal commitment which is better than organic!

Another FABULOUS perk about switching to YL oil infused products is that they are VERY concentrated so a little goes a long way but because they are so concentrated... I can also dilute them to multiply them to make the products stretch even longer! #FrugalBossBabe

My Story: When I started pursuing YL's business opportunity in May of 2014, I honestly didn't even know I was... I shared one of my testimonies on fb about how my husband and I kicked the stomach flu in 4 hours with the help of DiGize essential oil (an oil in your starter kit) and I then had friends and family messaging me like crazy demanding more deets! I invited them over to my home to hear all about these bottles of Jesus Juice and I had 10 out of the 11 friends who came buy a kit and create their own wholesale account... I thought I was simply just helping them have access to these products like me... well come to find out.. THAT IS THE BUSINESS!!!
